@subliquid Releases His First Full-Length
Sub Liquid is NoCal's Graham Pisarek, a 27 year-old multi instrumentalist, sound engineer, promoter, and producer. While 'Beneath Your Reflection' marks his tenth studio release in just as many years, it is his first full length album. Tight production and a very organic, textured aesthetic guide this release, with repeating motifs and his capabilities on guitar and synth entering and leaving at their own rhythms. From the release page: '"Beneath Your Reflection" is an eight track electronic exploration of Downtempo, Instrumental Hip Hop, and IDM. Based on found sound and organic instrumentation, with an emphasis on melody and atmosphere.' The full album can be streamed from both his SoundCloud as well as his Bandcamp. Our favourite song? 'Life Of A Human'. There's just something about the atmosphere and choice of instruments in the track that really gets us going.
