Jacob pulled down a sheet of material in the enclosed store, feeling that there was about enough room to stretch maybe one of his arms out and nothing more. Fabric shops were so often tight like this but this one was particularly dusty- the catch was, they had the best fabric for the best prices. As he was pulling Jacob realised too late that he had pulled the sheet from the roll and it came loose. The fabric puffed out and covered a figure who had been standing a foot down the isle.
“Very sorry.” Jacob apologized, pulling his sheet back and unsheathing the shorter individual. “That was my first time losing control of my roll, I promise.” He smiled kindly, hoping to be forgiven.
