So, it's been quite a while since I've done anything related to this AU, huh?

I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, and frankly I should've said it outright sooner, but the comic isn't happening. I'm not in the position to make it myself, it was far too ambitious, and I'm not comfortable handing it off to somebody else, so ultimately this is the only choice that's left.

...With that being said.

This AU still has a lot of ideas that I'm proud of, and it would be a shame if they never saw the light of day.

I don't want to make a full-on written story either, but I do think a write-up of the main plot I had imagined would serve as a good, proper send-off for this AU. (Plus, maybe some extras, like character bios or a few written scenes?)

Ultimately, it'll take a while, but I still think this story is worth telling.

Chapter I-V of Subground Shells is finally here!

After three months of accidental silence, part I-V of Subground Shells, titled “Big-Mouthed Bout!“ is almost ready, and will be releasing at some point tomorrow!

So, it’s been a while, huh. I didn’t even realize three months had passed since the last part, whoops!

My initial plan was to just take a break through the month of April, as I felt like I had to force myself to work on I-III and I-IV just to get it done, buuuut I kinda lost track of time and now the year is almost halfway over, very cool.

I have been making progress on I-V, in fact I’d estimate that it’s ~70% done, it’s just taking a while because I keep procrastinating and working on other things as well.

Like I’ve said before, the last thing I want to do is force myself to work and burn out, especially since I’m currently a one-person team and Subground Shells is something I’m very passionate about.
