So I'm still not rlly sure of what just happened but my dad literally asked me if I were gay And like I knew he suspected about it and that he thought I was a lesbian so that wasn't rly surprising but I was really not expecting it to just ask me And much less him being as supportive as he was when in my shock I couldn't deny it (also I'm at a point in life where I don't think I'd deny it to anyone who asks directly and he was the first so). So yeah basically I'm out to my dad right now Technically Like I know I'm not /gay/ per se but I'm currently in a relationship with Kate, who is female as well and I don't see that changing in the immediate future, which is why I really didn't want to go into the land of Oh No You're Just A Confused Lesbian so I just left it at it. But things considered this is one of the best possible outcomes and I'm truly happy and I do feel like something just fell from my shoulders and honestly it gives me confidence to come out to more people in my family because things come to shit I can count on my dad so. I'm happy I'm rly happy rn
