I was tagged by @ificouldflymp3 Â for the 11 facts challenge. Thank you for tagging me Nina! Sorry i took some time to do it, but here goes.
1. I am currently doing my Masters in the UK, and its been interesting to live alone without family and figure myself out. I have no idea what im doing after i complete my Masters though. :/
2. I am fluent in English and Tamil. I can understand the slightest bit of Malay. I did learn German in my Undergrad days, but i lost touch.
3. I was a premature child, and gave my mum alot of grief during her pregnancy. the doctor would come in to check my heartbeat, and wouldnt be able to hear anything. They would then prepare the OT and bring my mum down, only to use the machinery there and realise that i am alive and still kicking in the womb. Apparently this happened quite a few times.
4. While growing up, i was the elder one and ended up taking care of all my younger cousins. Because of this, i ended up with alot of “maternal insticnts”, and now just get into Mother Hen mode whenever i see someone younger than me or someone precious i need to protect (see: Harry and Louis) .
5. I had golden-brown hair when i was young, and i used to get questioned quite frequently in primary school if i coloured my hair. Sadly, it just got darker through the years and its almost black now.
6. I can only count up to 8 in Hindi because thats how my dance teacher used to count. And i never bothered finding out what 9 and 10 are.
7. Mimi is actually my nickname. It came about when my parents used to ask me what my name is when i was young, and i would just reply Mimi, instead of my whole name. My full name is Meroshini, which means brightness or light in sanskrit.
8. I absolutely love dancing, listening to music and reading. I can always find solace in these three things.
9. Though i can be candid and loud with friends, i am an absolute introvert and it takes a lot of effort and courage for me to speak to new people (if i ever do). It doesnt help that i am socially awkward.
10. I am a proper Taurus when it comes to food and sleep. Nothing can come between me and food/sleep. Maybe except reading. That is the only thing i dont mind losing either for.
11. I used to think that i was a proper Potterhead, but then i went to a HP quiz night that my uni organised, and those people were HARDCORE! Way too intense. But yeah, I love TCP, Sterek and 1D. So I’m up for a chat about anything, anytime. :)
