It should be illegal for a being to have such fun and meet such cool people and learn so much and work so hard at the same time a.k.a no one should enjoy their jobs this much, I guess I should be in prison then uh? A life sentence of it, because I LOVE or rather, loved my job. Who would have thought that my short lived love for photography would lead me to meet the best colleagues, meet all the celebrities I never even dreamed of meeting, develop a deeper and more artistic style of art, become smarter and more fashionable at the same time, attend fashion shows (In front row), living and working with people that don’t pretend, ever, and the list goes on and on…

Dare. That’s what my experience at Style Mania has taught me, dare to believe anything is possible, because it is, dare to believe that work can be fun, that people are nicer than the cover they put up, Everyone at Mania that’s my friend , I never liked them at first, none of them,  I thought they were rude, had no filter, and what not but over time, these guys (They are all guys) have made life easier for me, they became my brothers, starting with Godson! The Editor of Style Mania, I grossly disliked him at first meeting, grossly(I mean that in every sense of the word ), I thought he was too self and work obsessed but over time (This took a looong while), I realized how much of a cover that was, He’s still a bully don’t get me wrong, but he’s my brother now and sooooo different from what  I thought at first , you’ve just got to love them like that, they are family )+ they give you black Friday deals so what you gonna do uhn?.

Then, there’s Dominic who just used to irritate me at first, He said I laughed too much, and always had this pessimistic look but guess what? Dominic is my mainest now! I mean it; He’s the sweetest person on earth, when you get over the bullying of course

And Of course there’s Chux (His birthday is soon!)omgosh, He’s funnier than all these mainstream comedians, He brings life to the office, and there’s one thing about him, He’s got your back, Once you’re his friend, He’s got you … once you’re okay with his comedic attempts which might sometimes be aimed at you of course.

Ugo is also this special person, He's such a chilled person which makes it so easy to be friends with Him, He makes life look so easy, is happy almost all the time, treats everyone so nicely, Every one needs an Ugo in their life, I'm sure He doesn't even know it, With Ugo, everything is chilled, don't take life too seriously, it'll sort itself out, and He's so real (No faking extra posh or weird accents in Mania o, They'll catch you so just gage yourself and be real)

Then there’s my office bestie, Nonso, He came across as too quiet when I met him, and I’m not a fan of people that are too quiet because they have and do something I’ve never been able to do, and so there’s a silent envy, but over time, I understood him so well and due to my influence of course (Partly), He became less quiet, way less… *dusts shoulders in pride*.

I NEED to mention, the best teacher I’ve ever had of course, and don’t mind the looks and outside toughness, IK is the best teacher, He pushes you and pushes you, He annoys you a lot of times, but which friend doesn’t right?

Ifeahin my boo is the bestest, He’s always there when you need him, always, His hard drive played an important role in my life before I got mine, and he kept complaining though, as if that’s not what friends are meant for, invading your space J … (Singing on my own and passing by … *Ifeahin and Rhoda sitting on a tree*), Rhoda is awesome too by the way

And then there’s Gbenga who as far as I’m concerned, is an old man in a young man’s body, his style of music, the things he says, everything, Having Gbenga as a big brother is one of the best things that could happen to you.

Mr. Kelechi Amadi Obi, my boss, is a bundle of happiness, enthusiasm, depth and so many other things; He’s like a legend as far as I’m concerned. He treats us  as friends, and believe me you want to go with Mr. Kelechi to events and places because you shall be well fed, at the best restaurants, lol, You won’t believe how wise this man is, and in the midst of every casual, funny, conversation I ever have with Mr. Kelechi, There’s something to learn, and He doesn’t even know it, He’s just doing his thing, People like Mr. Kelechi are the type that gave their friends low self esteem unknowingly in school, I can bet, plus his smile is so infectious!

Since we’re still on the subject of happiness, the only person that’s happier and more friendly while still making you work your butt out is Aunty Julia, that’s what we call Mrs. Kelechi Amadi Obi, I think  she has a talent for that, She’s my family, that woman, and I’ll make sure I keep it that way, you know why? Because she made me family first, she was my boss and my friend, she expects so much from you, you know, you want to do everything, not because you like it but because you don’t want to disappoint her, plus all the free cookies and sweets and snacks were a bonus too, of course, she gets you, I’ll miss her.

In every office, there’s got to be a revolutionist and Mr. Wole the accountant is the One in Style Mania, He can’t stand mediocrity, I mean, He’s so angry at all the politicians messing up right now and wants everything to be better, beneath all that though is a love you cannot imagine, He’s so funny without trying to be and He doesn’t always bully me so Yeaaaah! Mr. Wole is the coolest, but don’t mess with him o, except you want to mess with your salaries, lol

Here’s the first person I met at Mania, Zuby!!, He’s the closest friend I have at that office, and whether he accepts it or not, He’s going to miss me the most, although he’ll enjoy his downloads faster now, He’s the biggest bully of them all, effortlessly, but he’s such a great friend, He has a modeling agency too, if any one of you need anything like that, Holla.

There is Mayowa, You guys, He’s not even been at Mania that long yet I’m pretty sure I’ve disturbed him the most about all my technical and computer problems, because He knows so much in that area, you know, He’s like partners with Godson in Bullying and laughing at me but *eyes rolling *WHATEVER, I’ll really miss him because in whatever way that he knows, he’s always ready to help, and He may not know it but He always has great gist too  + black Friday deals and custom deals just gotta make you value ‘em lol

Oyinkansola and God’s power are new at the office but they’ve been a bundle of joy and I’ll miss them too, they are such happy folks

Christian thinks He’s my partner in crime so I just let Him, lol, He’s such a great person, annoys the heck out of you sometimes but He’s such a great guy, I’ll miss our journeys and in Godson’s words, my sleeping fits (You see what I’m saying? Those guys man, I can’t deal, lol)

And then last but not the least is Israel, My Padi at the gate, always teasing and making jest of me when I’m leaving but its fine! No one to make jest of now uhn?

I’m sure you guys are like, so why are you leaving? Honestly, Many times I don’t even know, and it may seem like I’m unsatisfied and dont even know where I'm going but when it’s time to go, it’s time to go, you just know, it’s not a feeling, you just know … Can y’all now see why I said dare? Because none of these guys had a great first impression but we had the best time together, so please, dare to believe people are different from how you see them at first okay? It’s tough love, just like with my friends at Mania. A friend told me once, that leaving a job is like a professional break up, I didn’t believe it then, but right now, I don’t think a break up could feel worse, but you know the good part? It passes! So take that step you’ve been so scared of taking, leave your comfort zone, I promise you, you’ll be fine
