I feel like a winner. We've made it to Xmas eve without any major ordeals. We're all still talking (just!), every present is wrapped (all million and one of them!) and we're ready for the big day. This Christmas is the first ever Xmas that i'm not spending with family. We have some of our besties coming over with their kids and it's going to be different but so much fun. Boxing day will be spent with my sis and then we're off to Norfolk for New Year. So this is my last post of 2018. I'm going to sign off from the grid until January 2nd when i'll be back with a whole new look for the grid, more IGTV videos and my Instagram lives will start! Eek! Merry Christmas everyone. I'm definitely liking more colour as I get older. I think my skin has become sallower and I no longer suit paler shades. I need brights to make me look like i'm not an extra on The Walking Dead! So when I saw this skirt, I had to have it! The interest on the hem balances out my hips and I can dress it up or down with either heels or trainers (and you know how I love my flats!) As it's such a bright colour, I wouldn't wear it with anything other than black which highlights the spotty print and lets the skirt do all the talking. I've worn it loads so it was a great buy. Other bright colours that suit me are bright pink and blue too, but navy and grey will always be my go-to for daytime. What colours suit you? This season, I’m loving ultra thin roll necks. Apart from the fact they cover my wrinkly neck, they are also great under a suit, a blazer, layered under a shirt or even a summer dress. You can find them in a multitude of colours all over the high street. I’ve teamed this autumnal check suit with a white one but I’m loving the rusts, browns and oranges that are around right now too.
