here’s a goofy style comparison I did to try and get back in the swing of drawing :> only issue is I already try to draw em pretty close to the comics/show, so my closest imitation of Steve’s style ended up looking very similar to how I already draw them lmao. So to make up for it, I made a fucked up version too!

Ok so I was digging through old art and I wanted to do a style comparison for fun! On the far left is my direct interpretation of Grillby’s in-game sprite. That’s my attempt at making him look as close to how he appears in canon as possible. In the middle is a copy of the style that I used when I drew Grillby for the first time, back in 2016. To the right is my current, 2020 style. Looking between my first style and my most recent one, it boggles me that very subtle changes over time lead to such a big difference. And both of them are very different from the canon style!
