-I mentioned it before, but it's possible what returns isn't her 'original' self, and more so a re-creation perfectly made with what Caine knows of her. She's an NPC that he has been working on for many years to perfect, and only possible due to him being close to her once upon a time compared to the other players. She has access to the original's mind file memories/any other files Caine could salvage, but he has to re-create the other aspects of her file that was corrupted from his own observations about her. She is sentient, maybe more like Caine's programming ironically enough, and the only missing memories are a significant portion of her before-digital life, even when compared to other's memory losses, and whatever events lead to her abstraction. She has no clue she isn't the original one, and Caine will do anything to keep it that way to not have the program break and fail. He dearly misses and cares about her, and wants to see her and Kinger happy once again, and doesn't want to see her break again. Ironic if her original self is still in the basement, abstracted, and what that would do to her mind if she ever found all this out.
-It is her original self, but heavily messed with file wise by Caine. Maybe it even breaks parts of him, hence only being able to un-abstract her with years of hard work. Something he doesn't regret doing but leads to their own consequences in the world he created and on himself. Queenie meanwhile has effects from her abstraction, perhaps a fear of the dark or an inability to fully process what she went through. Maybe straight up denial about the circumstances, or memory loss, or having mental problems much like her husband. Or even the 'coming back wrong' trope.
-In whatever scenario Queenie is brought back in, much like how Kinger isn't the same anymore due to his experiences, neither is she. But they can both take comfort in that together, getting to know each other once again and finding comfort in knowing that they'll still love each other despite their changes. Yes they love each other, but there's bound to be problems that come up between the time they were separated, whatever led to Queenie's abstraction to begin with (even if she doesn't remember clearly), and Kinger's current mental state.
-Aside from her relationship with Kinger and Caine, I am super curious what her actual personality would be and how she'd interact with others! We know she's into bugs, and got Kinger to like them despite having an initial fear of it, but how did she become involved enough to be trapped in here with the original devs? What are her other hobbies, her dynamic with her husband, what she does for a living? Did they have any kids, or did they ever want any if not? So much of her is attached to her husband and the relationship they had, but an AU that has her 'coming back' in whatever form is ripe for fleshing her out as a human being and stirring up the cast, lol.
-Sidenote to all of this, I wonder what her room is like. Or, if there's some kind of gimmick with her and Kinger's room where despite having different doors they're connected internally in some way. The mental gymnastics if both of their doors lead to the same room would be wild, or if they always just used the same room despite having separate ones in the past. Would make sense as to why Kinger never uses his room, if it's just constant reminders of his dead wife.

I feel like it such a good idea for getting her unabstracted could be like.. kinger somehow is left alone with her for a long time, and he talks with ger, and it slowly breaks through the daze shes in (if we go based on the near abstraction jax goes through, where outaide stimulus can still creep in, but itd be really hard to break through a full abstracted mind, but no omws ever Tried before then, because the card just never lined up for then to Try before then
Caine seems to pop them in the celler first chance he gets, queenie was likely the omly abstraction anyones witnessed in the dark before, no one but kinger would Know that they become calmer in the dark
So if there were a scenerio where kinger and queenie were left alone, maybe on Purpose as a joint idea between Caine and Kinger to test? Something...
thered be a fun chance of kinger talking to her, and that, joined up woth cane activey parsing through her code? Like wach small instance of recognition from her is singled out by caine while they both work, until eventually he has enough non-corrupted code/files to work with?
The pla was to unabstract Everyone, but after theyre successful with queenie, she cmes back with missing spots, shes damaged like kinger is mentaly, but in a diffrent way. And then theres the toll of caine. Maybe it leaves him with long lasting glitches, and ive always loved the idea that when hes unable to fly, he has to use his caine. Maybe uncorrupting abstracted code corrupts HIS code, and obviously that a Really bad idea bc itd mess wth everything in th circus
After queenie is recovered, caine gets painful glitching, and he cant float easily anymore, and walking Hurts so he needs his caine, and thats enough for everyon to agree: trying to do it again with mlre abstractions just isnt feasible, let alone the fact that maybe a huge part i doing it is havng a deep connection to the pwrson, and grounding them bc to their memories of the real world? Which no one else can Do for the others, because while kinger was coworkers with a good few abstracted folk, at the end of the day, they weren't close in the same way as him and queenie
It makes sense that way for ony queenie to be brought back
Real question is the motivation for him and caine to actually start working on this.. and what time in the timelime to set it? I dont want to set it after episode seven, i dont think 🤔 maybe a canon divergence where jax nearly abstracts in the bathroom during the awards ceremony, and Kinger finds him?
Or maybe KINGER nearly abstracts because of something, and hes brought back out by someone, and it leads to tge realization that it might be possible

Kinger alone on an adventure, disoriented as always, maybe havng those daydreams of queenie, and then he snaps back a little, just rnough to realize hes in the circus Alone, and it brings him back to when he WAS alone for possible Years, and it makes him spiral, and all he wants is his wife, and que abstraction procedures while Caine is distracted with the spudsys crew
And the only reason kinger DOESNT abstract right then and there is because uhh idk maybe Caine pops in at just the right moment to snap him out of it
And that causes them tk be like O H. That can happen?? Someone can be snalled out of that shit??? What??
Que blah blah blah procedures unabstracting blah blah cause also, having his wife back would also Help kinger so much, or at least thats how caine thinks of it idk something like that
