So I was wondering (since you have a Studyblr) is there some studying tips you can suggest? My Midterms starts tomorrow and I am completely lost. :(
[psa: my studyblr is @studywithalex]
i’m so sorry i wasn’t able to reply earlier, and with the time difference i’m afraid i may be too late for your first midterm. i hope you can apply these tips to your other midterms and future tests/exams.
at this point, i hope you have finished making all of your study notes. if you haven’t started studying at all, try to make notes [maybe summary foldables?] for what you think is the most important information to know for the exam, since you won’t have enough time to study everything.
the night before each exam, lightly read over your notes. you should already know and understand most/all of the content, so this should just be going over familiar information. don’t try to learn new concepts in one night because this will simply add extra stress and could cause you to have a break-down, which you want to avoid!
while reviewing, don’t forget to take breaks! we remember best by reviewing in chunks, so studying for hours straight is not a good idea. i’m awful at remembering to take breaks so i like to use the pomodoro method [you can use any timer or download an app].
be sure to get a good night’s rest! pulling an all-nighter will likely set yourself up for failure; lack of sleep will cause you to feel more fatigued, and you’ll have more trouble recalling information and concentrating during the exam.
