Hello! Bonjour! Ciao! Hola!
Creating this blog was easy enough - the hard part comes now. I am a serial idealist who loves the idea of consistent blog posts and updates, yet I have plenty of neglected blogs in my past ... (oops) however! This blog is the first of it’s kind for me. I’ll be writing about my experiences as I study museums and culture in Paris, Rome, and Madrid this summer. I hope to ramble about culture shock, surprising things, amazing food, delicious wine, inner thoughts, and of course, travel. This blog will be pictures and tourism galore!
So a little about me (though I really only expect people who know me to read this): I’m Kelly, a junior anthropology student at Indiana University. Though my initial studies within anthropology were focused in on bioanthropology, zooarchaeology, and paleoanthropology, I’ve made the switch towards cultural anthropology and museum studies within the past year. Along with my education minor, I hope to someday find a job within a museum educator’s office, expanding the young, hopeful minds of museum visitors.
My program is through IES Abroad, and I will be studying museums and culture during my 7-week program.
I’ve been abroad once before, in 2013, to visit London, Edinburgh, and Paris with my family. It was such a wonderful experience and I cannot wait to return to rich European history and learn from some of the most amazing museum professionals in some of the oldest museums and cultural sites in the world (museum geek moment!!!!!!!).
I also hope to find the best crepes in Paris, the most delicious gelato in Rome, and I simply cannot wait to try out Spanish wines. Wine and dine aside, I’m looking forward to exploring these places as much as I possibly can within the whirlwind two weeks I’ll be in each city along with some spontaneous and wanderlust-worthy weekend travels to different places. Wallet and Instagram followers - beware!
Hey y'all, I just made a tumblr for my study abroad/travels. I probably won't be on this tumblr very much while i'm in Morocco, so that'll be the place to keep up with me

For now it'll just be planning/prepping/worrying/paperwork.
Here's the link to the page for my particular program, in case anyone was curious
Hello and Introduction
Hi everyone! Welcome to my travel blog. Its going to start focused on my Study Abroad trip, but I plan to maintain it through any subsequent traveling I might do. I'm starting it now so y'all can see the planning stages and I have a place to rant about the massive amounts of paperwork studying abroad takes. Feel free to ask me any questions about my study abroad experiences.

One more person makes the 'don't get your head cut off comment" and I'm going to get my axe and do some decapitation myself.
Group pictures with the lovelies in Busan and during the ferry we took to see the Banpo Rainbow Bridge.
More miscellaneous photos. This data transfer thing is taking a while.
