So THIS if finally finished. Remember those plans I posted a couple days ago? Well, here is what those plans birthed. A storage unit with drawers for microphones and harmonicas, a (yellow) box with dividers for guitar strings and a bunch of storage boxes for whatever else. This unit sits on top of another smaller unit I built a couple weeks ago - the smaller unit stores a speaker, a pull out tray for pedals and a couple more drawers. The main frame is made of oak. The shelves are poplar and the boxes and drawers were made from 1/2” birch ply (and honestly any other scrap ply I had laying around). The drawer handles are cut from 3/4” ply on a 20 degree angle. See that empty space next to the unit on the wall? That’s a good 60” that will be filled with more shelving and storage - my next project.
