I would have liked to shown different social interactions with Miss Boxhead, the shadow without the physical box. That would have left out the physical factor of the box, leaving a completely new transformation. I thought that it was interesting that many responses I got commented on the femininity of the box which wasn’t a huge focus when I was making it. However, I was glad many people saw the social commentary made on our wired thinking and maybe it was really a reflection of my own experience. 

Each of my 4 experiments were critical to my final work as they provided a point of reflection and analysis, allowing me to learn more about my capabilities as an artist. I have developed an understanding of photography, using it on a more professional level. This has instigated new possibilities for my art-making in the future through the use of photography as well as my newfound appreciation of experimentation.

Experimenting with my box became playing with the box, the shapes and the ideas. For the final, I think the focus became the conceptual ideas of the box. Each experiment opened me up to various ideas and the final persona was created. Each of the different experiments created the ideas for each section of the final -- creating the final Miss Boxhead! ; a manifestation of our preconceptions.

The concept of contrasting shapes is intriguing. The figure that was created resembled a figure with a box head?
