this movie is so good. i recommended this to my friend group. it depicts the social, and mental repercussions of early detremental trauma. i won’t say the exact thing bc it would spoil it. the main character lived his entire life secluded from social groups and expectations. he’s an outcast. a wallflower. sitting on the sidelines as everything around him happened and passed by. when he’s pulled into the social group by emma watson, and ezra miller’s character he starts to discover new and different expereiences, and he likes it. he begins to go out more. throughout the film we get little snippets of him having panic attacks, with a heartwrenching final scene. i like this film bc i think it best depicts panic attacks as well as anxiety attacks. the actor did very good in conveying the surge of self-mental abuse that comes from PTSD and early childhood trauma. it’s very realistic n gets u on edge.

i lov this song itz so good. its very hypnotic. it talks about the sins and going down the “wide road” opposed to the river. this is a metaphor to people living seperate lives. the chorus goes “take me to ur river... i wanna know” this means that he wants to know how the other half lives. the verses also go in depth to the abolishment of sins. first time i read the lyrics i thought it was about him wanting to retreat back to his mothers womb since it talks about blood and his mother towards the beginning. its a salvation song.
