feeling productive as a multidisciplinary designer is difficult especially when there’s no definitive project in progress.

i’m trying this productivity challenge here on tumblr since it’s the app drawing my attention away from “work” or “productivity”.

hoping it helps me understand that sometimes productivity looks like a 3 instead of a 7 & that i’m always making progress, however small.

A friend encouraged me to start a studio blog -- to get less curated and a little more accessible; to think out loud and share what’s happening in my studio as I’m working. We’ve been trained to curate ourselves and present ourselves and our work the best we can. But if as an artist my main focus is on the process, how better a way to share the process than while i’m in the middle of it...

Anyway, this is a first post. Welcome to my studio blog. I don’t know how often i’ll post. We’ll see!

Reflecting on all the wonderful projects from the year and the projects I am closing out the year with, I am filled with joy!

Quite significant year for me...the growth I was able to endure and achieve this year leaves me excited for what is to come. My goal for next year is to create a blog space on my website where I include studio notes from current projects and upload workshop lesson plans for educators! 

I’d like to thank everyone who has hired me, collaborated or supported me for any project this year! 

Also, I’d like to update the world that I gained citizenship this summer. Quite a beautiful ceremony and cherish the journey to achieving citizenship.
