Ghisallo Cycle / 2015-16
(Featured in Portuguese newspapers Dinheiro Vivo and Expresso)
This was a multidisciplinary, international team project (six students from Design Factory Melbourne / Porto Design Factory / Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali) with Portuguese client Sonae SR/Berg Cycles. The brief was to create a green solution for urban commuters.
Over nine months, I had the opportunity to:
- plan and conduct design research
- present this concept in front of small and large audiences, and ultimately at Stanford University
- collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and design disciplines
- analysis and synthesis of testing data in pursuit of a solution which balanced user needs
As well as product development, I was responsible for:
- brand creation and collateral, as well as written communication of the product
- art direction for photographic material
- set design for a three-hour ‘EXPO’ booth at Stanford- formal presentation, script and slides
- managing, editing, copywriting, proofreading and layout for three process documents (300pp long)
