An age-old tradition and festival approaches and we couldn’t be more excited. But we’re doing Raksha Bandhan the Beej way. Just like how we aim for our bags to be classic but with a twist, we believe that festivals and rituals deserve the same makeover. Raksha Bandhan has evolved over the years and changed from ‘protecting’ the sisters to symbolising sibling-like relationships. It’s no longer about the sister tying her brother a Rakhi - people have really decided to change Raksha Bandhan to festival that means something deeper to them. Social media has examples of sisters tying each other rakhis, sisters giving gifts to their brothers, and our personal favourite - people giving gifts to those who are like siblings to them. Bonds run deeper than blood could ever define, and we are here for it.Â
