It’s been a week and I’ve been slowly picking away *happy dance* I have a desk area to work in again! We’ve gone from a whole room at the old house, to 1/4 room wrap-around desk and now I have my corner... very happy with my corner! The 2nd picture shows the before/after of the $90 vintage desk we got. Restained and moved the undamaged pulls around, added 2 new ones on the drawers and @daysend_photography put in a shelf for the fairy houses’n’plants just above. I will have a sunny spot to stitch when summer is done and the gazebo comes down. 3rd picture is the Billy cabinet that now houses ALL of my mixed-media embroidery stuff. Top-down -The buttons are in jars, then beads in their cases, fabric (bins ready for when I get some), threads, jewelry/to sort, yarn, lace/trim etc, wood and hoops, kits and pre-loaded hoops. The edge of the China cabinet is paint etc... and art/bullet journal sh-tuff. I was soooo excited to find a basket big enough for my #wip stuff and the rolled things too tall for shelves. Ironing board is tucked to the right of the desk, tall package of painting the left. Desk drawers are nails etc... to my right, make-up to the left, tops are supplies (tape, glue, cutters etc... incense in the middle and pens to the right. I also reclaimed my parents big spice-rack from the basement and loaded it with to-sew-on goodies. Don’t be fooled: this corner looks GREAT right now but the rest of this floor... lol, let’s just say I still have a -lot- of work to keep puttering away at. I can now lighten the library up because the shelf my stuff was on is free, we bought an elliptical I need to work in and we’ve moved the buffet over near the big wall unit and everything and I mean everything in them is getting shifted around. Streamlining and getting things closer to where they get used... lock-down means we’re home to git’r’done. Taking it slow I am far from feeling better but plugging away... going to go sit at my desk and stare out the window for awhile. :) #mesk #desk #studioarea #daysendstudio #mine #oasis https://www.instagram.com/p/CDUpHNXgvjO/?igshid=e9b26q7hjznv
