How I wish a camera could capture the warmth of her in my lap. The feeling of her purring, the sound so slight a video can't pick it up. I wish I could make sure I remember the feeling of her fur, abnormally soft and I've had many cats over the years. I've never shared a bond like I do with her. I am truly grateful to have had all these years with her and hopefully several more ahead of us. I'm glad she was an adult cat in a Petco all those summers ago, whoever gave her up lost the sweetest (often spiteful) little kitty. Sometimes I think the universe is super unfair to me and I've been put through hell but I thank it for giving her. It's easier remembering things aren't all bad when she chirps at me throughout the day. 🩷
