It was fun seeing everyone in the mansion, it was so huge and pretty

“Ok, I saw your crush, he's right there, now don't get nervous--” started B/n 

“You know he has the ability to hear you, right?” I asked

“Oh, shit- I forgot” said B/n

“Eh, whatever. It’s not like he’s gonna come up to us, and ask us to dance” I said

“Well, do you want to dance?” asked B/n, already kind of dancing

“Yass dude!” I said, as we started to dance

Then suddenly, slow music started to play

“Well, this is getting a little awkward” I said

“Yeah, uhh, I'm gonna grab some drinks” said B/n

“Kk” I said

Then a familiar voice with an attractive accent came to me

“And who might you be, darling?”

I turned around, to see my one and only crush, just looking at me with those pretty eyes.

“Y/n, Y/n L/n” I said

Kol got my hand and kissed it, thank God I was wearing makeup so he didn’t see my blush “Kol Mikaelson”

“Nice to meet you” I smiled

“You too, love. Would you like to dance?” he asked

“I’d love to....if I wasn’t bad at it” I said

“Well, I could always help you” smirked Kol

“If you insist” I said, Kol smiled and got me to the dance floor, I saw B/n coming back and smirking at me and Kol, I gave them a look that said ‘Yes, so exciting, but pls don't make a scene’ they nodded and went back to dance with someone random.

Kol then looked deeply into my eyes and I think he tried to compel me to dance.

“Sorry, compulsion doesn't work on me” I giggled

He frowned “How did you know?”

“I know more about you and your family then you could guess, I'd explain, but it’s a long story, just know this, I don't stalk” I said

“Hm, well for the last few years I've been dealing with a lot of stalkers, so it’s good you’re not one” said Kol

“Wait, weren’t you stuck in a coffin for the past few years?” I asked

Kol laughed “You have some explaining to do for later on, darling, but for now” he paused, and got an arm around my waist, pulling me first closer to him, then lifting me up, so my feet were on his “Let’s dance” he finished, smirking

We swayed to the music for a while, when I rested my arms around his neck, and he rested his on my waist, still holding me strong so I don't fall down. And I could say, I got lost in his eyes.

“So, how did you know all that stuff?” he asked

“Ok, uhh” I laughed “How do I explain this. So basically, I’m living in a series called ‘The Vampire Diaries’, and me and my best friend somehow just got in it, so I know who you are and who your family is because of that”

“How was I not able to compel you?” asked Kol

“I don't know. I guess I just got lucky” I said

“And, do you fancy me? Is that why you agreed to dance?” asked Kol

“Depends, do you fancy me?” I joked, making frown and smile

“Yeah, sorry, that was stupid, we only just met--” I started, but got cut off by Kol’s  lips on mine, of course, I kissed back

When we pulled away:

“We may have just met, but I've been getting to know you, and searching your head this whole time, so I pretty much know you now, and honestly, I've never met someone like you. But I can say, I do think I fancy you. You’re beautiful on the inside and outside”

I was blushing so much now, that I'm sure he would be able to notice even through my makeup

“Did I make you blush, darling?” asked Kol

“I...uhh...Yeah” I admitted

Kol laughed “We should meet more often, how about you come to my place again tomorrow afternoon?”

“I’d love to, but is it ok if best friend also comes, we kind of made a promise to not be too far away from each other no matter what” I said

“Sure, love. Besides, I think Rebekah likes the both of you very much, I heard all their conversations” said Kol

“You better watch who you eavesdrop, Kol!” screamed Rebekah

Kol laughed “If you weren’t eavesdropping, how would you know I was?”

“Our ears are sensitive, I hear without knowing” said Rebekah

“I mean, is she wrong?” I asked, Kol smirked “Not at all”

“1 question, if you don't mind me asking” I said

“I get asked a lot of questions, love, feel free to ask any at anytime” smiled Kol

“Ok, can you turn me? I’ve wanted to be like you for a long time” I said

“Sure, just tell me when you’re ready” said Kol

“I honestly think this is the right time, but with the crowd and everything, not the best idea” I said

“Smart girl, but you still haven't answered my question” said Kol

“What is it?” I asked

“Do you fancy me?” asked Kol

“I mean, isn't it obvious?” I smirked

Kol smiled “Yeah, I think it pretty much is”
