Owl is still looking for a girlfriend still. It sounds like there are a few new conversations, but nothing serious. Owl has had a couple of people that both of us feel were on the wrong side of things. Both of these people decided that they were looking to have a relationship without telling the partner they already had. Both Owl and I feel that this is not a good way to start a good relationship. And no way to step into polyamory. I am not sure that I would have been ready for something like that if not for the great polya community here on Tumblr. Being so new to this all I am glad there are so many of you out there. It has helped to read through so many different posts and blogs and pull what fits our situation. I am just happy all of this is out there. I had a small moment of clarity today when Owl got home. I was able to tell her about some of my feelings and how I work. Although she may not be able to take everything thing in that I said, she did listen and that is what matters. Even better than that, being that I am the one in touch with my feelings and not Owl, she opened up to me about how she feels about a couple of things. I found out that there are a couple of things that I need to do. It seems that I am pushing for too much emotion from her. I understand this now, but not sure that I would have had she not told me. I don't want to stop her from doing something just because I open my mouth too much and drive her a bit nuts. But she loves me and I love her. I am just so happy that we were able to have this talk when we did. We have known each other for so long, but we still have so much more to learn. ❤❤❤
