StrmMusic Teams with HOME Nashville and Song House to Create HOME Hits
Tyler Ward has spent the last twenty years building in social media, launching his YouTube channel in 2010 as one of the original OG influencers, touring the world, signing with Sony Germany, collaborating with artists like Jason Mraz and Earth Wind and Fire, and opening for the Beach Boys and the Jonas Brothers, with more than two billion streams to his name.
In 2021 he founded Song House, a collective of independent artists learning to storytell and use the algorithm in their favor, now home to over sixty Voice and American Idol top ten finalists, a growing roster of signed artists and songwriters, and more than five hundred million collective streams.
HOME— Helping Our Music Evolve — is a Nashville-based nonprofit trade organization built to empower independent music creators with the infrastructure, education, and industry access they've never had in one place. Members get real physical space, a 7,000-square-foot Nashville creative complex, built in partnership with Center 615 through more than $1 million in investment and outfitted with studios designed by award-winning engineer Anthony Falcone, alongside an active ecosystem of high-level producers, songwriters, and industry professionals who develop alongside the artists, not above them. The result is a category no other organization currently occupies: holistic, creator-first career development, structured as a mission-driven trade body and built for the way music actually gets made today.
Drawing together the Nashville music community, the partners are founding a viral-first social label that lets the audience choose the hits.
Song House, the pioneering social label with more than 5 billion streams and a powerhouse social following, is joining forces with music hub HOME Nashville and music career accelerator StrmMusic to launch HOME Hits.
“Music was never supposed to be content. It was supposed to be connection. We're getting back to that,” said Tyler Ward, founder of Song House. “StrmMusic, Song House, and HOME, are coming together for a really cool collaboration called HOME Hits, where Music Hits Home. This is the future of how great songs and artists break through.”
A groundbreaking new social label, HOME Hits fuses viral content creation, real-time audience testing, and rapid commercial release. Together they’re ushering in the next era of label creativity by uniting forces with Song House’s compelling song writing process, centered on the HOME community and boosted by StrmMusic’s unique combination of data driven AI label services and distribution, to amplify growth.
As a social label, HOME Hits flips the traditional label script. Instead of artists creating in isolation and hoping for later social traction, songwriters and artists co-create in real time in Nashville, film the process, and let the audience decide what moves forward. Hooks that resonate get produced into full songs and released quickly through StrmMusic’s distribution platform — giving independent artists a faster, more data-driven path to discovery and sustainable careers.
The model was proven by Song House, founded by Tyler Ward. With 1.6 million TikTok followers, 1.4 million on Instagram, 1.5 million on Facebook, 110k YouTube subscribers, and 832k monthly Spotify listeners, Song House has built one of the most engaged independent music communities online. Now that playbook is expanding in Nashville through HOME Hits.
HOME Hits sessions take place at HOME’s 7,000-square-foot creative complex in Nashville. Writers and artists, both HOME members and special guests, are given 30 minutes to craft a hook around a universal theme. They perform it for the group, the moments are captured on video, and the best-performing ideas advance to full production and release. The first sessions are already produced with material for 18 songs. Sessions will feature HOME, StrmMusic, and Song House artists and occasional high profile guests.
“This is exactly the kind of collaborative, community-first model we built HOME to support,” said Logan Crowell, founder of HOME. “We’re giving independent creators the space, the network, and now a proven social-to-release pipeline so they can focus on making music that truly hits — in the heart, in the soul, and in culture. If you still believe a song can change someone's life, you're our people. Welcome Home.”
Geoff Cubitt, CEO North America of StrmMusic, added: “We’re thrilled to partner with Tyler, Song House, and HOME to help elevate the incredible talent in this ecosystem. StrmMusic exists to give independent artists better tools, better deals, and more control. HOME Hits is a perfect example of how technology, community, and viral creativity can come together to build the next generation of sustainable artist careers. We’re all about helping artists get traction and reach a bigger stage.”
