And at the end of the day, there’s a reason for brothers. I had a meltdown last night. Like an honest to god, snotty nose, hiccup crying, stress related, ugly meltdown. I tried talking to a couple friends and they were awesome and comforting and listened. But I couldn’t get it together. Then I remembered, nobody knows you like a sibling. Nobody knows what made you who you are better than those who have been there your whole life. Nobody knows how you process things and WHY you’re melting down without explanation like your sibling. So I called Daniel. And ranted. And cried. And babbled incoherently. And likely made no sense. And then apologized for crying, ranting, and babbling. He just goes, “I’m your brother.” We may disagree on almost everything under the sun. But, when it matters, the sibling bond remains unbroken.
