#1 song over at StreetVoice is 與這個世界格格不入的很徹底, released last week by a band/artist called 劣根性.  I don’t know anything about them, can’t find them on IG, FB or YT.   The track credits look like nonsense, but the lyrics are included.

劣根性 Google translates to inferiority, and the StreetVoice address is oilgalaxy.

This was song of the day over at StreetVoice yesterday, and it immediately won me over. I’ve heard some instrumentals from them in the past and they have a powerful sound, so now it’s nice to hear them add a lovely vocal.

I think 3 of the members used to work at / manage 山羊飯館 The Goat Restaurant & Bar, and the band played there also.  I think the place closed in 2020

LÜCY aka Lücy Liao is a singer-songwriter we've featured once before, about 9 months ago. This is her new song posted yesterday to StreetVoice, already #1 on their current chart. Intimate folk tune and a voice that makes my heart melt -- I hope you'll go have a listen! When I see it at YT, We'll have it here. =D

You’ll have to go to StreetVoice to hear the song, it’s not at YT yet.  Highly recommended tune, so check it out!  

*That’s their name on weibo, but I also see the TIE GI logo on some of their other sites.  In Google translate the result is the same: 鐵擊 tiě jī  /  铁击 tiě jī, so maybe the difference is traditional vs. simplified characters...?  Is there a reason why a band would write it one way for Taiwan and another way for mainland China?

They formed in 2013, released their first album in 2016, and an ep in 2017. They don’t list their names on social media, but the lyrics are attributed to 大鈞, so I’m gonna assume he’s the lead singer (male voc).    Question marks for the rest of the band, lol: ??-Gtr/Female Voc,  ??-Gtr,  ??-Bass,  ??-Drums
