Today was my first time making cakes with MiGaoFen (rice cake flour). The results weren't quite what I expected because the texture turned out a bit too dense.
As you can see in the photo, the batter almost filled the cups. I actually filled them to only about 60 to 70% at first, but after letting the batter rest for 60 to 70 minutes, it rose to about 95% of the cup.
The purple ones are made with pounded purple sticky rice, while the yellow ones are made with pumpkin.
Maybe baking just isn't my thing.
