On top of a hill was a lonely man who smoked as he gazed into the night sky above. He was expecting to see stars as he normally does from his home, and he did. He was right. The night was beautiful, calming-- it gave him a nostalgic feeling somehow, made him remember his past. At times like this, he wondered if he should socialize more with people so that he wouldn't have to spend time alone too much. But thinking about it twice, he was quite bad at making friends. Never mind, maybe this was better than hanging out with people. He shrugged, eyes still fixed at the sky.
Tonight, Ryosuke's aunt was having a discussion with her workmates at home. Besides his aunt, there was nobody else he could have a conversation with at home. Due to the reason that he didn't want to bother the older woman, he drove away from home and went stargazing, thinking that it would help him get rid of the lonely feeling inside. However, instead of doing so, stargazing alone like this only made his loneliness worse. Furthermore, he was feeling as though he had been watched now. Perhaps it was only his imagination?
