Even though he was standoffish and cold, he found himself drawn to your personality. Your warm, bubbly energy quickly pulled him in and became something he looked forward to seeing every day. Everyone around him noticed his obvious change in attitude whenever you came around.

It wasn’t until one of his teammates started making obvious attempts at flirting with you. Normally, he’d roll his eyes in disgust, but seeing you blush at every flirty comment that was thrown your way didn’t sit right with him. It took him many weeks (and a lot of teasing from his teammates) for him to realize he loved you.

Rin

He never had time for falling in love. At least, not until he met you. All he could think about was being a better striker than his brother. Meaning you were usually pushed off to the sidelines while he trained. But that didn’t necessarily mean that he didn’t like you, no, he just never got the time to sort out his feelings and put a label on them.

You were his number one cheerleader, always attending games and being the first to congratulate him after he won. Maybe that’s why he never gave you a second glance for a good chunk of your friendship. He just got used to you always being there. He knew you’d always be there. Which is why he’d often trust you with his water bottle.

So when he was sitting by the sidelines at the end of the match, panting and out of breath from playing the entire game, you immediately ran out with his water bottle. He stared upwards at you as you stood over him, a concerned look on your face as you handed him the bottle and used your body as a shield from the sun. He never took his eyes off of you as you stood there smiling, completely oblivious to the flush that spread across his face.

Yukimiya

I’m pretty sure you fell first. Who wouldn’t? He’s tall, charming, confident but not arrogant in his abilities. Not to mention an absolutely gorgeous face. You’d often catch yourself staring at him before daydreaming of little scenarios about him being your boyfriend. Can you blame yourself? He’s stunning.

One time, he caught your eyes following him as he ran down the field during one of his games, watching his every move. Every time he looked in the direction of the crowd, he was met with your soft gaze. And he'd be lying if he said your gaze didn’t make him feel excited. He had to make sure to show off a little in front of you.

After the game ended, he ran over to you, a bright smile on his face. A smile which you happily returned. But seeing your smile directed to someone else as you divert your attention to another one of his teammates and giving them a cheerful congratulations made him realize that he wanted to see your smile all the time. And when you showed him that beautiful smile again, he swore his heart stopped for a second.

⭑ He always insists on you watching his games. He says he plays better when he knows you’re watching

“You’re coming right? I need you there.” He faced you as he grabbed his soccer bag and got ready to leave, hoping you’d walk with him to the pitch and watch his match.

“Yeah I am.” You threw on a hoodie and followed him out the door.

“Good… you’re my good luck charm.”

⭑ He’ll give you his jersey to wear in the stands so people know that you’re his partner

“They need to know you’re mine…”

⭑ You better believe he’s clingy behind closed doors

⭑ He’s the type to get rather possessive when he’s jealous

⭑ One time he saw you talking to a guy who was getting a little too close for comfort and it just set him off

“Nagi… what are you doing?” You’re currently sitting in your bed watching your boyfriend play games on his console. Only, he had his legs wrapped around your waist and leaned his head on your shoulders as the screen flashed in front of you.

“Mmm…” Was the only sound he let out as his grip on you only tightened with each passing minute.

You had no idea what had gotten into him. Ever since the two of you got back from the mall, Nagi was all over you and you had no idea why. “Tell me what’s wrong.” You tried to coax the answer out of him.

“I saw some guy talking to you…” He mumbled into your shoulder. You thought for a second before recalling an instance where someone had come up to you in an attempt to hit on you. Although you shot him down rather quickly, the encounter was still enough for Nagi to get clingy.

“You know I only have eyes for you.” You give him a quick kiss before turning your attention back to his console. It’s not much but the reassurance means a lot to him.

⭑ He may not put much effort into many things, but for you, he’s willing to go to great lengths to make sure you’re happy

⭑ He’ll bring you flowers, sweets, and little trinkets he sees that remind him of you

⭑ The type who loves seeing you where his hoodies because he thinks you look adorable

⭑ His favourite date is to go to the convenience store and buy snacks with you before going back home and watching a movie or game with you

⭑ Remembers what you order when the two of you go on dates or go to a cafe and uses said knowledge to get you food when he visits you

⭑ He would pick up on little mannerisms of yours and find them adorable

"Fuck..." You grumbled, sticking your arm out from under the shelter. The rain had been at a constant downpour for the past half hour. Leaving you to sit alone in complete silence until it was cleared to go about your usual late-night activities.

Well... you thought you were alone.

The sudden sound of a can startles you. Snapping your head around, you spot a figure crouched down, back turned to you and a head of short hair poking out from the top.

He turns his head to the noise and catches you in his peripherals. You give him an awkward wave, taking in his features.

Platinum blond hair, a surgical mask like yours, hazel eyes. He looked rather awkward as your eyes continued to stare into his soul.

You finally snap out of your trance, realizing just how long you’ve been staring and immediately looking back out into the rain. Mumbling a soft apology and smiling as you did so.

It wasn't long before you saw the rain visibly die down. You did a quick back check to see if the boy was still there. He was.

Only this time, he was standing right next to you, giving you a slight scare. He was looking at the skateboard in your hands, and then out into the rainy park. He gave you a questioning look and pointed at your board. “How long?” He questioned.

“Oh this? Only a few years.” You lift your board up, showing the beaten up design underneath.

“Cool.” The boy turned his attention back to the park, leaving you two in an awkward silence.

The rain had died down significantly, reduced to a mere sprinkle. You deemed it good enough to finally step out again, turning back to the boy and giving him a small wave once again.

He returned the wave with a small nod, turning around and jogging off into the distance.
