Once a month I publish a Music Review Poll, which either compares 5 versions of the same song, or 5 songs by the same artist.

The purpose of this straw poll is to take nominations for music to include in the poll. Depending on the popularity of entries in the results, more than one review poll featuring versions of this song may result.

Released on Aerosmith's debut album in 1973, Dream On was the band's breakout hit, and is a staple on classic rock stations to this day. A power ballad with a contemplative feel, the song placed at number 173 on Rolling Stone's 2004 list of the 500 Greatest Songs Of All Time. The song had been percolating in Stephen Tyler's brain ever since childhood, and he composed the lyrics when he was merely fourteen. The climbing notes that lead to the climax were written to showcase Tyler's trademark screams.

Should I post information about each song when posting? Or alternatively, add them after results come down? This would be things like, "this song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1987" and things like that.

Would people like to know my personal opinion on a song after the results of the blog followers' voting comes down? Note that unlike the preemptive posting of my opinion I'm doing on the Musical Jigsaw Puzzle Game, I would only append my opinion after results are published, and not before.

Led Zeppelin formed in England in 1968 from the ashes of their previous incarnation, the Yardbirds, and became famous for experimenting with a heavy guitar-driven sound that would later be considered a progenitor of heavy metal, hard rock, and progressive rock. Named after the Hindenburg incident where a hydrogen-filled zeppelin airship was lit on fire by a spark, they indeed lit the music world on fire and left their mark on the industry to this day.

A straw poll taken at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest has singled out one member of President Donald Trump’s Cabinet as by far the least popular with Republicans.

The event, held in Phoenix over the weekend, was the first since the murder of the organization’s co-founder, the conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

“We wanted to get a real read on where the base is at after Charlie’s assassination, and a few things really jump off the page,” Turning Point USA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet told Fox News Digital on Monday.
