Thoughts: Strand 1
Finished writing the post, but then it disappeared when I tried to post it. Guess I'm still trying to get used to this. To be honest, I'm not quite sure why I started a blog, if this could even be called a blog in the first place. Perhaps I wanted to experience what it's like for myself--to have a small corner on the internet to call my own. Even though the thoughts that I record here are for myself, it's equal parts frightening and thrilling that any stranger could stumble upon my secret garden of feelings and ideas.
A few days ago, I read a quote: Have you ever met someone whose smile looks like it could make flowers grow?
Yes, I thought to myself, I'm sure I have. And so I spent the next few days looking for a smile that looks like it could make flowers grow. Funny thing is, it seems like every smile I saw had that potential, if it was genuine enough. That makes sense, I guess. It's the feelings of sincerity behind the smile that gives it its sweetness. I wonder what other people think when they see my smile.
