Ever have those days where you want to change your look ? Me too so let me show you what I use! My natural hair is curly/wavy and frizzy at times so I use styling tools to either give me straight hair or tidy curls and beach waves. Since my hair is quiet thick it can take a while to style my hair depending what I’m using and over the years I’ve had a few curlers and straightners which were ok but what I’m using now is so much quicker and healthier for my hair. So as you can see today’s post is going to chat you through my two favourite hair tools that give me the best results.

The first tool I’m going to chat you through is the BaByliss Heated Smoothing Brush (£32 on amazon). This brush is by far one of my favourite things I’ve ever got and it’s literally a straightener that is a brush so you literally brush your hair straight. It has 3 temperature settings and a max temperature 200°C. The brush is so quick to heat up, it’s ready to go in 40 seconds and comes with a heat mat and a glove to keep yourself save while using it. This product is great because the max heat is 200 degrees you don’t damage your hair with heat as you would with a normal straighter that can go up to 230 degrees. This tool is perfect for thick hair especially because it speeds up the process of straightening your hair and genuinely makes the process so much quicker. I love using this as a straightener and my hair looks so much softer and glossy after using the heat brush compared to my normal flat iron straighter. The tool I use to give my hair the perfect beach waves and curls is Babyliss Wave Envy Advance Ceramic Hair Styler Waving Curler, £40. This tool gives your hair the perfect curly beach wave look and like I’ve said before my hair is frizzy curly so a tool like this gives me neat curly hair and takes away the crazy frizz. All you have to do is clamp the hair between the barrels for instant effect and then follow your hair down. Depending how much hair you put between the barrels you can go for a tight beach wave or a loose wave and then style as you wish. This waving curler is a high heat performance and is fast to heat up making the process even quicker. It has 3 heat settings ranging from 160°C – 200°C which is more then enough heat to do thin or thick hair effortlessly. Using this on my hair takes less then half an hour which is half the time a traditional curling wand would normally take me.

Using these tools are so fun for me because I love styling and changing up my hair especially since dying it red. But before I use either of these products I always use a heat defence spray all over my hair just to protect if from heat damage. For me personally all my hair styling tools are from BaByliss just because their tools are quick to heat up, easy to use and cool down really quickly after use so you don’t have to worry about waiting ages before you can put it away. I use my straightening brush weekly and use my wave curled when I have enough time (mostly on weekends) and both of them have never let me down.
