people will call every single non binary person they know "gay" to binarize them and disrespect their identities, but the moment i identify as a straight enby suddenly im "misgendering" myself and being "boring" 😔
seriously tho can queer communities be more normal about straight people. we are not "less cool" or smt i actually thought we wanted everyone to respect all sexualities and gender identities. not every single non binary person is gay and acting like gay is the based orientation while straight is the "evil" orientation is nothing but disrespectful to intersex cishet and generally cishet folks who have been marginalized in other ways. its like people dont care about poc/disabled/other marginalized classes who are not queer as if being queer is the only cool way to be marginalized :/
People always try to binarize non binary people's label on sexuality unless it's straight up Unlabeled, queer or gay.
