The surface map this morning indicates that low pressure is advancing toward the Great Lakes, accompanied by a cold front extending back into the southern plains, while another low-pressure system is present in the west. Today, that cold front ahead of the low-pressure system will be the focal point for severe weather. Some storms may produce damaging winds and hail. Snowfall will persist along the front range of the Colorado Rockies and into the mountains. This snow will gradually move south into New Mexico and may even affect parts of the higher elevations in northeast Arizona and Utah. Expect snowfall today into tonight, with most lower elevation areas receiving one to four inches, while higher elevations could see more than four inches. ❄️🌨️ #WeatherUpdate #SevereWeather #ColdFront #GreatLakes #StormWarning #DamagingWinds #Hail #SnowForecast #ColoradoRockies #NewMexicoSnow #WinterWeather #HigherElevations #SnowAccumulation #WeatherAlert 🌨️❄️
