Emily looked at the time for about the millionith time since getting home from the store. She had stocked up on the necessecities along with Cooper's favorites. After having got his own apartnment and job at Walmart, he didn't come all too often. Emily knew it was a part of him growing up and becoming an adult and his own person but that didn't mean she liked it. Quite the contrary. She didn't like that her kids were all leaving her, or close to it. She wanted to keep them safe at home where she could protect and provide for them. Especially when they said they were having problems.
Cooper had sounded so stressed, worried, and drained about what he had to tell her and that unnerved her. What could he have to tell her that was so bad? More importantly, how was he? Was he okay? Emily bit down hard on her lip nearly causing it to bleed as she continued to prepare dinner and stare at the clock. It was like time was frozen, it seemed like Cooper would never get there. She needed him there, in front of her. Now. She needed to evalute her son, see how he was doing. In the pit of her stomach she senses he wasn't going to be quite alright and Emily prepared herself for that. She wanted to help him and if that meant taking care of him for a few days she would do it without a second thought.
