Wow, massive news in our industry, the Property Care Association have removed Peter Cox as a member. Our industry gets a bad rap from misdiagnosis but apparently the surveying and selling practices have left a lot to be desired from this massive company. We adhere to a code of practice set out by the PCA. I’ve seen first hand reports from surveyors that mis diagnose and add walls that are dry, it happens a lot when surveyors are on commission. I looked a one last week from a Manchester company who said the whole property had rising damp yet the property was built in the 50s and had a physical DPC. People that know me and have had work carried out can see we do everything we can to solve your damp problems with a bespoke service.
