so I had just finished "Stormbenders" by Fandomme. that was something indeed. I can imagine the hype this had back then. honestly, I was more interested in the action than the romance, and I think ch.15 was unnecessary. but oh my god, it's still a really good fic! It's definitely not my favorite work, but it had such interesting and vivid moments that deserve praise.

how long the slow burn in “stormbenders” is? i’m actually a big fan of really slow slow-burns
It's pretty slow! I'm normally not super into that but the burn isn't forced for the sake of being a slow-burn; there's a plot outside of the zk relationship and it really explores nuances in bending styles (bloodbending, stormbending) along with zutara's relationship with aang (which is super wholesome) and zuko and toph. It's super feel good. I don't think the romance shows up for maybe 100k? :)

To be fair, it's a long, long slowburn! But by the time you get to chapter 10/18ish and it starts to heat up it'll steal your heart :)
