A somewhat related-post with Kageyama and Daichi as distant relatives

Kageyama accidentally calls Daichi ‘dad’ a few times during their volleyball practices. Daichi, who is somehow starting to get really annoyed at it, shouts (right in front of the Karasuno team):

“I’M NOT YOUR DAD, I'M YOUR UNCLE!!!"

And everyone’s all slacked jaws and were unable to move for a good few minutes.

They both end up unbelievably embarrassed and explaining it to the team.

Soon enough, it’s all forgotten and everything goes back to normal.

Everything except for Sugawara, who gets into the habit of teasingly calling Daichi “uncle” whenever he talks about him to Kageyama, and calling Kageyama “nephew” when talking to Daichi.

"Kageyama, can you grab Hinata? Your uncle said the break’s over."

"So if Hinata then moves there and you go here, Daichi" (*points at paper with new strategy drawn out on it*), "your nephew has more choices of who to set to."

"Hey Kageyama, see the stance your uncle takes when receiving? Try copying that."
