Time is running out for Net Neutrality

This will harm a lot of people! We'll have no:

- Small Businesses

- Artists to comission

- Jobs

- Entertainment

- People with Mental Disabilities

- College (Will become more expensive! No, we don't want that, right? Along with student debts.)

- Online Assignments

- Connection with Loved Ones

- News

- Etc.

I know hashtags are more of a Twitter thing but this is serious. There’s protests today, December 7th, nationwide at Verizon stores. This is a very important matter that will not only impact the lives of US citizens, but could very easily spread worldwide if other countries try to mess with whatever Internet system is in place in their respective countries. 

If you live in the US and can make it to a protest, I urge you to go. If not, there’s plenty of websites and articles with information on how to make an impact on the FCC’s decision. They’re voting on this in 7 days. (December 14th) Some things you can do to help the cause and keep net neutrality are contacting your Senators and state representatives, donating money to organizations such as Battle for the Net and Free Press.

You know the drill. Contact your Congress people, sign petitions, and generally make a ruckus all over the internet. Don't let the FCC screw this up for all of us.

It's not just social media, it's online banking, school work, education sites, and public databases at risk. It puts us all in danger of having our primary source of information heavily censored. So please make posts over the net about saving net neutrality!

The FCC is voting to end net neutrality on Dec. 14th. Congress can still stop the vote, but only if we make them. Go to https://www.battleforthenet.com to #StoptheFCC and defend net neutrality before it's too late.
