!!!!!SCAM WARNING!!!!! i just got a message from a random person @robidbanks and they provided a screenshot telling me that they and their friends reported my account thinking it was somebody else and directed me to reach out to somebody named jarrel perry. i looked up this name before doing anything else to see if they had a tumblr account, and turns out this is a pretty big scam thats been going around. i almost fell for it because it seemed legit enough but still strange, but also because im brand new to tumblr. anyone who gets this message, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE IGNORE THAT MESSAGE IF YOU GET IT. IT IS A SCAM. DONT CONTACT ANYONE, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE FINE. i was almost ready to make a whole new account incase i still got deleted. i hope this helps somebody and dont fall for scams people!!!!! I do not blame the person who messaged me because they most likely fell for this scam and it was not actually them messaging me and i hope they are able to recover their account. as a precautionary measure though i have blocked them
