Berlin-based, Ay Wing, returns to end the summer just right, with her latest single, ‘ Orange Dreamer.’ The newest track by Swiss-born, singer-songwriter, speaks about nostalgia; a story that highlights a journey back to oneself.

Ay Wing reminisces about her time spent in Los Angeles last summer throughout the song’s lyrics, singing, “ nothing ever stays the same, seasons changing, storm stopped raging…” The song was written while she was going through, and later recovering from, a rough patch in her life. Her latest, therefore serves both as a diagnosis, but also the cure for the troubling times she endured.

She says, “I wrote Dreamer’when I was recovering from my time in the United States while I was on tour. The song is about getting back to and finding myself again. My friend once told me that he always sees the color orange when I'm with him, so it seems to be my color,” and hence the song’s title. The track’s multi-faceted elements showcase the sincere passion and dynamic creativity that come naturally with Ay Wing’s voice and sound.

Seattle-based indie outfit Ivan & Alyosha make a triumphant return today with “Everybody Breaks,” the first taste of new music from their upcoming release, details tba. 

The song explodes out the gate with an anthem of chorus vocals, a pure slice of sunshine that embraces its straightforwardness in both subject and delivery.

The band says of the track, “’Everybody Breaks’ is a song reminding us that we are all on an even playing field. At the end of the day, we break sometimes, and that's ok. The big question is, what do you do when things fall apart?”

Ivan & Alyosha first sparked attention with their 2013 debut album All The Times We Had, followed by 2015’s It’s All Just Pretend. Paste called their music “luscious, enjoyable folk-pop” and NPR Music praised their “Beatles-esque pop harmonies and sweet melodies,” while Rolling Stone raved about their “smooth, soaring guitar pop” and American Songwriter said the band “achieve a polished west coast soul-folk sound that draws on the poppier sensibilities of McCartney songwriting.” The band toured extensively around those releases, supporting such acts as Brandi Carlile, The Head & The Heart, Delta Spirit, and more.

As their schedules maxed out, they found less time for creativity and realized a change was needed. So, the fivesome -- brothers Tim and Pete Wilson, Ryan Carbary, Tim Kim, and Cole Mauro – decided to take a slight break from the day-to-day demands of Ivan & Alyosha to regroup creatively and also spend time with their young families. With that time and freedom came perspective and inspiration, and during a gathering at Mauro’s house last year, drinking beer around a fire pit and swapping these new song ideas, they came to realize two things: one, they felt a new urge to create together; and two, that they didn’t have to go about it all in the same old ways.

Klara Hammarström has done quite a lot during her 19 years on this earth. She represents the Swedish national team, has won big championships and is the front-person for a Swedish reality show.

Today, she’s working with the elite of Swedish music creators and has got a collection of pop tracks in the pipeline to be released this coming year. Her debut single "Break Up Song" is modern pop of the utmost class and shows Klara’s completely obvious presence as an artist and strong female role model.

Amira B is a New York City-based R&B singer-songwriter, and “head-turner” (Jukely) with unique Russian and Egyptian roots. “Her sound blends soul, R&B, and funk, and her sultry vocals over the top take everything to a new level” (Breaking and Entering).

Amira’s independently released June 2017 debut album Defined was well received by indie blogs Atwood Magazine, AXS, and The Deli Magazine. She’s been compared to artists Joss Stone, Leona Lewis, Amy Winehouse, Beverley Knight and Corinne Bailey Rae (Songwriting Magazine). 2018 was a transitional year for Amira, full of self-growth and shifting to a more urban sound. The June 2018 single release “Never Gonna Fall in Love,” which charted on Hype Machine, channeled nostalgia from late 90s era urban pop, combining “raw lyrics with groovy funk vibes” (Sunset in the Rearview).  

"Do You" is the first single off of her next EP available on all platforms. A song of self-love and acceptance, co-written with producer extraordinaire CARRTOONS, “Do You” is reminiscent of neo-soul singers like Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Groove Theory, and Amel Larrieux with a slightly retro & funky backdrop.
