I'm tired of all this. people calling jensen a king and literally putting him on a pedestal now hate on him. people who say he's in love with misha and he has heart eyes for him are now calling him a homophobe. you point fingers, take words out of context and twist them, this damn cancel culture is the most toxic thing these days.
he is a human being and he's allowed to make mistakes. i get you're disappointed, angry and feeling unvalidated but how can i express my surprise when most of you responded with hate towards a guy you loved two days ago?
some people take things too far and read too much into his words then say "don't tell me how I'm supposed to feel". well, in that case... don't tell me how I should feel either. don't call me blind or homophobic because I don't turn against him. I'm in this fandom for 10 years and jensen saved my life more than once. so don't come with your hate to tell me how I'm supposed to feel about his words, what kind of person i am and stuff.
a week ago everyone was talking about how dedicated he was to the show, to the confession scene and he even wanted it on a tape for himself and now those same people keep calling him names, sending him death threats. he's kind, sweet person with so much respect for other people, he would never hurt someone intentionally. jensen did his best and he never wanted to invalidate people's feelings.
what about misha? do you really think he'd be his friend (more than friend) for so long if jensen was the person you described? or danneel? cmon, i get you're angry but what the fuck? don't you think it's super toxic when a person should carefully pick his words in your presence because you may twist them? because it is. not everything is homophobic. some people make unproblematic things problematic.
so, yeah, i understand your anger and disappointment but jensen ackles is not the bad person and homophobe you say he is.
