#i mean its kinda both#capitalism itself is and has always been a lot of bumbling its way through profits and boom and bust cycles and mergers and bank runs#and bankruptcies and acquisitions and market crashes and inflation bubbles and epstein class levels of evil stupidity and decadence#its all embarrassingly stupid#i think the most stunting liberal belief is that capitalism is something that once worked fine for everyone and was somehow corrupted#like some stupid genesis story from the bible#society is still swimming in way too much superstition and nonsense#stop it!
