Ermineclaw gathers his youngest kits to tell them bedtime stories as they settle in for a sunhigh nap.

He’s honestly an honorary queen at this point. Snailstep loves her kits but hates being cooped up in the nursery and can’t wait to leave, while Ermineclaw hates being away from the nursery and his kits for even a second and rushes through his chores to get back. So once the kits are old enough to no longer need to nurse, Snail goes back to her warrior duties and Ermineclaw takes over the majority of nursery work.

I did upload a pic of these two in the full family lineup but I wasn’t happy with their designs so I revamped them.

Stoatfrost is named after Ermineclaw and Icestar (based off of @graphite-grey 's OCS), and he will eventually become Snailsteps medicine cat apprentice .

Lilyleaf was originally called Amberleaf but she didn’t really have anything Amber about her so I changed it lol. She’s also the smallest of all the siblings

Also while drawing this I had this stupid thing in my brain 🤣

FINALLY moon 9 is here. also i love pumpkinkit sm

also Duskcatcher wanted to hang out more with Alderstar this moon. And Shrewmoss was led to the clan by a Starclan cat, and considering the only cat in Starclan is the guide and Rushpelt I decided itd be Rushpelt who led her there

Cowardkit - A nervous and quiet tom. Cowardkit hates anything new and will often hide from it, almost everything scares him and he will often ask a lot of questions about something before even thinking about trying it. Thinking about his past is one of the causes of his anxieties , he doesn’t like to think about someone abandoning him alone, potentially leaving him for dead, it scares him to think what might have happened if he hadnt been taken in, 14/10

Spiritkit - A bold and adventurous she-kit. Spiritkit is always trying to encourage her foster brothers on adventures but she often fails as Cowardkit is often too scared and Slugkit often just doesn’t want to, so Spiritkit will often go by herself, she usually ends up in trouble due to her persistent attempts to try and explore outside camp, 14/10

Slugkit- A relaxed and cheerful tom. Slugkit definitely takes things at his own pace, he loves watching the goings on in camp. Spiritkit can sometimes persuade him to go on an adventure but he often just relaxes with Cowardkit, reassuring his foster brother that everything’s ok and nothing scary will happen, 14/10

Frogpaw- An intelligent and thoughtful tom. Frogpaw always likes to thinks things through, and will often try and stop Scorpionpaw from making rash decisions he may regret. Frogpaw’s thorough thought process can often leave him indecisive, so Scorpionpaw sometimes makes quick decisions on Frogpaw’s behalf as long as Frogpaw is ok with it, 13/10

Scorpionpaw- A bold and courageous tom. Scorpionpaw is always ready for action, often running head first into things with little thought, he’s sometimes initially irritated Frogpaw stopping him from acting rashly but he usually comes to see that Frogpaw probably saved his pelt, so he will always to try and look after Frogpaw where he can. Scorpionpaw is a lot more charismatic and social than Frogpaw, and his stunts are often met with admiration from the kits and other apprentices, he loves the attention, 15/10

Dustkit- An energetic and brave she-kit. Dustkit isn’t afraid to stand up to cats much bigger than she is, especially if they upset her sisters. Dustkit is always poking her nose is places she shouldn’t out of curiosity and restlessness, she’s has big ambitions for the future, 14/10

Stoatkit- An intelligent and skilful she-kit. Stoatkit May be young but she’s already started to mimic the training she’s seen the apprentices practice in camp to an impressive degree. She is very observant and she takes everything in, several cats have already asked their leader if they can be the one to apprentice her, 15/10
