Sun light shinned through the yellow blanket as the two lovers laid under it. A little fort they had made out in the woods just for themselves. Just their secret place.

Da’an pressed Elise’s fingers to his lips. A kiss on her knuckles. She smiled back at him, her hair sprawled all around her in dark waves.

“You know if we get caught…” Da’an had begun but Elise has pressed a finger to his lips.

“I’ll tell them to mind their own business and I can seduce whom ever I please.” She smiled a wicked grin. “Besides we aren’t doing anything wrong.”

“Easy for you to say, you’re not the one at risk of getting fired because of fraternizing with the Baron’s daughter.” He kissed her wrist feeling her pulse on his lips. Her perfume was that of flowers.

“Well I’ll just have to rehire you as my personal fraternizer.”

She climbed on top of him, her black hair falling all to one side. They where still clothed and she was wearing a white linen dress for this summer day.

“Da’an promise me something?” Her demeanor changed from merriment to a serious tone.

“For you I would do anything.”

“Promise me that you will always come save me. Just protect me if my father’s obsession with the occult becomes dangerous.”

Da’an was about to protest that the baron would never hurt his own daughter but thought better of it.

“I promise”
