"But I love that kid. " // "Look for those bare necessities!"
After weeks of cold and days of stormy weather there was finally a lull which prompted Kajika to coax her fair haired friend to go on a picnic. Perhaps Sophie had been feeling the symptoms of cabin fever as well for it took less effort to convince her than the young heiress expected. The older woman had even gone as far as enquiring what she needed to bring along. Kajika had merely replied with a casual grin.
"Just look for those bare necessities!"
She didn’t think it was necessary to worry about anything too complicated.
They had decided to hold their picnic under one of the evergreen trees so that they could get at least some shelter from the sun. Just because it wasn’t a blazing summer day didn’t mean the sun should be underestimated after all. It was while they were happily munching away that the unexpected happened, a baby bird landed with a plop on the picnic blanket causing them to startle slightly. The poor creature had obviously failed its first attempt at flying but surprisingly the parents were nowhere in sight.Â
The two females remained at the tree for as long as possible but as the day drew to a close with not even the barest glimpse of the fledgling’s family nor a way to return it to the nest, they decided to take it to Kajika’s home to care for it. Sophie came to visit the little bird virtually every day and the two lavished their affection and nurturing on the small feathered creature for nearly an entire week before it was finally ready to take flight into the wild.
The two surrogate parents watched with proud teary eyes as their little birdie took to the skies, fluttering about cheerfully before disappearing.
"I don’t think he’ll be coming back…"
Sophie’s sad whisper penetrated the silence that had developed between the two friends as they both gazed mournfully out the window, staring after the bird that they could no longer see.
"But I love that kid."
Kajika’s protest was met with a knowing look, her older friend reaching out to squeeze her arm in consolation before suggesting they make some tea. Casting a final look out the window, the young heiress nodded her consent and followed her companion to the kitchen.

❤ describe how they show affection.
He may be a medical prodigy, but he has zero experience on love. Most of the times he would show that he feels comfortable around them, like sleeping on their lap, or talking more than he usually does. He also tends to be much more posessive to his loved ones
âť– describe their hands
His hands are rough and full of calluses from all the stitching and chemical stuff that comes into contact with his hands. But at the same time it feels rather warm and strong.
beating heart | soma & sophie
He should've known from the start that he was never safe, even in a city like Brieve.
It all started from the warning letters he had received daily in the past 3 months--right after Fenrir Co. proclaimed to have the solution for cancer treatment, to be more precise. Soma knew that they were just bluffing to taunt the other pharmaceutical companies, but he had not expected the danger that his father had brought upon him.
It was a dead giveaway that the perpetrator was sent by those companies and was intended to intimidate his father into cancelling the production for the medicine. But this was Soma they're messing with, and as much as he hated his family he wouldn't have the heart to destroy the company that has his late mother as one of it's founders.
Warning letters soon escalated into stalking; sometimes at night, Soma would find himself feeling as if he's being watched. And it doesn't take much for him to believe it wasn't a ghost whatsoever when he found another warning letter saying that he could die in his sleep. His father was concerned enough to send two bodyguards for him but being stubborn as always he sent them back. It's just a couple of hitmen, right? nothing he couldn't handle.
Unfortunately, they had to prove him wrong the hard way.
So there he was, a staggering bloody mess struggling to keep himself walking to his apartment. His body was aching everywhere from the knives and bats that came into contact with it. Fortunately, it was midnight so he wouldn't have to worry about 'unecessary attention' from passerby.
"Damn...it..."
As strong as he thought he was, Soma is still a human. He thought he could handle a little bloodloss, but he knew he had lost a massive amount of blood when his vision was starting to distort. Soma attempted to keep himself balanced by flinging his hand onto a bench he thought he saw, only to fall mercilessly into the bricked pavement. The blow from the fall sent him coughing out blood before falling unconscious.
Good afternoon! May I please request icons of Lianne La Havas? Thank you~.

There was a rolling hill of green, green grass as far as the eye could see and perhaps a tree interspersed every now and then but on the whole, the world felt extremely tranquil. To complete the scene, there were even a few sheep lazily grazing nearby. Shepard’s staff in hand, the young shepherdess tucked a stray russet lock behind her ear before casting her gaze across the field at her woolly charges. Her silver eyes soon lit with pleasure upon spying her neighbour, Sophie, carrying what appeared to be lunch in a picnic basket and heading in her direction which was a sure sign that it was time for lunch.
With a holler and a wave, Kajika strolled passed the grazing flock to reach her friend but suddenly came to an abrupt halt when the young lady in question transformed into a young ewe wearing a hat… Sophie’s hat…
"Sophie?"
Baaaaaa
Kajika frowned as the Sophie sheep gave a shake of her head, the hat floating to rest near the discarded basket of food for a moment before taking it between her teeth and slowly munching on it, all the while watching the young shepherdess to see what she planned on doing about it. Needless to say Kajika was absolutely horrified and shook her staff at the Sophie sheep in a reprimanding manner.
"Don’t you bleat at me young lady! It’s entirely improper to be eating your hat when there’s a perfectly good picnic basket!"
Baaaaaa
With a final bleat of defiance, the Sophie sheep scampered off with the hat still gripped tightly in her teeth and left the poor shepherdess to gape after her. Her motionless state did not last for long and then she was giving pursuit, determined that she would rescue the hat at all costs. Suddenly remembering the picnic basket, Kajika quickly turned and leaped for it, not wanting to give Sophie too much of a head start.
Digging through the basket, she finally pulled out a carrot muffin and grinning triumphantly she once more set off after Sophie. Flying across the green expanse of lawn, silver eyes focused solely on the bobbing silver-grey fur just in front of her which was getting closer to her by the second.
Baaaaa
Jamming the muffin into her mouth, Kajika pulled alongside Sophie and then picked up her pace which caused her to pull ahead. The young shepherdess showed no signs of stopping, not until she had tapped the trunk of a rather large oak tree right in the middle of the field. Whipping around to face the Sophie sheep, she stomped her little hooves and bleated her triumph, thereby dropping the carrot muffin in the process.
"Baaaaaaaa!"
I beat you…
