Waking up this morning & seeing this left me with NO words, except maybe this and a few streams of tears: as a little girl my eyes were always wanting the camera to pan to the rafters for just one glimpse because I knew as soon as something got bad, a man with a long black, leather coat, black and white painted face, few words, and his iconic black baseball bat would drop down to kick-ass, taking names and never asking questions. This man, this icon, this treasure is how I grew up knowing wrestling and to know that this man made the change over to @wwe for a few more promos, matches, the iconic #ecw vs #wcw kinda match at the grandest stage of them all, #Wrestlemania, to finally come to this point of retirement by announcing it at something/someplace he deserved to be from the get go, the #WWEHallofFame! You, kind sir, will forever be to me not only a true legend, frontier man, icon nor hero, but an image of what the wrestling/entertainment industry should always strive to aspire to stand in your shadow at the very least. You will always be MY favorite wrestler, but more importantly you will forever be the first name I think of when I not only think of wrestling but of legends in this business.
