First surgery review: •Tired, hungry, painful. •Sleeping in hospital beds aren’t fun, but playing with them...kind of cool. •Hospital socks, not my favorites. •For some reason, asking what time it is seems to be my first priority when waking up disoriented. Also, Amber is amazing for coming to visit and bringing Texas Roadhouse when they were gonna give me a frozen dinner. MVP right there. I started out Saturday feeling like death. I took my first dose of Umcka that night and my sinuses cleared up almost instantly. Sunday, my ears were no longer clogged up and by mid-day yesterday, the respiratory burning I felt and all the nasty mucous was completely gone. This stuff is amazing. It is nasty, but it gets the job done quickly! I thought for sure I was headed into bronchitis town again being that I have asthma! I am continuing to take it today just in case but I think it is safe to say I beat this cold! I was craving a Pumpkin Spice Latte so I ran to Starbucks since they are back as of today. Of course, when I got to the parking lot, my IBS began to turn it's ugly head, so I took Phoenix in with me to the restroom. Since I am going dairy and coffee-free for a while, I made some adjustments to it: decaf with almond and no whipped cream sadly. And of course I am finding out that I do not like decaf.
