😳🙏🏽💦 #getbettersoon #Repost @freesurfmag This morning, #Maui’s @dusty_payne paddled into a 4-5 foot Backdoor wave but didn’t land the drop. What happened next was nearly tragic. After noticing Dusty not surfacing, @photokeoki and @uluboi jumped into action, bringing Dusty - then unconscious - to the surface, stabilizing his neck, and, with the help of others, swimming him to the beach where he was resuscitated. He's reportedly in stable condition. Thanks to all those that jumped into action and especially the @northshorelifeguardassociation for their swift work reviving Dusty.
