It's been a stressful and emotional weekend, we love all of you and appreciate your understanding and support. The phone calls and messages are amazing. Our neighborhood and house still have no power. Thank goodness we have had power at Westwood because we have been using Love Charms as a shelter for ourselves and neighbors and have slept there since this all began. Chris's Mom and Sister had to evacuate Ramsey street and his other sister lost part of her roof out in Autryville and has flooding inside. Today we took a shop vac to a good friend and long time customer because her house is flooding. Our battery pack is keeping another neighbors phones charged since they can't leave and have no power. Just cleaned out the fridge because everything has defrosted and will start to spoil soon. I am telling you all of this because there are thousands of people in shelters across the state and displaced and the flooding and rain are not stopping. It is going to take a long time to clean up the destruction caused by this storm. Please reach out if you can, help when you can, even the smallest gesture of kindness can mean the world to someone. We are blessed, it could have been much worse. Tuesday come and hang out at the store, charge your phones if you are still out of power, take a break, chat with me. We will make it through this Fayetteville, we did it after Matthew and we will do it again. #helpyourneighbor #stillflooding #kindness #weareblessed #wewillmakeit #thankyouPWC #fayettevillenc (at Fayetteville, North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/BnzfzKWBsFw/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1x2953z0goot1
