CONSIDER: au where Stiles is a new foreign student who's just moved from Poland to California. Scott is the first one to start talking to him bc Stiles is new, doesn't have any friends, and he's not that great at english yet, and Scott feels really bad for him - plus he's curious, he's never met anyone from Poland before. they hit it off really well, and Stiles offers either homework help or to teach Scott polish in exchange for Scott helping him with his english.
Polish!Stiles is a thing I’m 100% in support of. In case you didn’t know.
Scott feels kind of nervous teaching someone English. He figures he’s been speaking it for 17 years, he should have a good enough grasp on it to help Stiles out. It’s a lot easier than he thinks. Stiles has a few books and a couple of programs on his computer. It’s mostly just teaching Stiles the meaning behind phrases and double entendres. They spend a lot of time laughing.
Aside from a few phrases and sloppy Spanglish Scott couldn’t learn Spanish so he doesn’t even bother trying Polish. Instead he greedily takes Stiles up on the offer of homework help. He can typically pull off good grades on his own but it’s a lot of hard work and he greatly appreciates the help.
Somewhere in between Stiles catches feelings and it hurts a bit because he’s only staying for the school year. It also doesn’t help that Scott’s lips are so soft and warm pressed against his own. That his hands are magic and he knows how to make Stiles feel special. It’s after a night of studying that lead to much more that Stiles’ heart breaks. He rolls over and is surprised to find Scott looking at him with a soft smile. “Będę tęsknić gdy odejdę Scott. Jestem smutny, że nie możemy mieć więcej czasu razem. Chcę ci powiedzieć, że cię kocham. Chcę Ci powiedzieć go z powrotem.”
Scott frowns. “What does that mean?”
“It means, I am happy that I met you. You are one of the most amazing people I have met. I want the best for you.”
Scott smiles. “I’m happy we met too.”
