#JackedKirby - A Man With A Pencil I saw an excerpt on Facebook from Kamandi #Issue32 (August of 1975) in which there was a behind the scenes featurette about Jack... so I immediately sought it out. Apparently Issue 32 is a Giant Suze special issue, so DC needed some extra content to go along with that months story. Along with reprinting Issue 1 of Kamandi, the issue featured a 4 page text article by Steve Sherman about Jack’s process. It featured some cool candid pics, behind the scenes details of Kirby’s process and a birds eye view into his lifestyle in Thousand Oaks, California. A very cool piece of content.
